History
The Waterworks Board of the Town of Bayou La Batre was incorporated in April of 1958 and was operated as such until 1986 when the name was changed to “The Utilities Board of The City of Bayou La Batre”. Since 1986, the board has experienced tremendous growth which required over forty million dollars in new construction cost to serve our 3000 water and 1900 sewer customers within the service area. The board of directors, managers and employees are dedicated to provide our industrial, commercial and residential customers the highest quality of water and sewer services.
